Welcome to The Historical Museum of Richfield in beautiful Summit County, Ohio! The Historical Museum of Richfield operates under the Richfield Historical Society.

COMING EVENTS
We have a variety of events planned to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary! To see the calendar, go to "Join Us" at the top of this page and click on "Documents" - there you will find the "Semi Q 2026 Calendar."

On Tuesday, July 14 from 7-9 PM at the Revere High School Auditorium (venue change because of the high heat index), we are proud to present a "Happy Birthday America" Concert featuring the 40- piece Akron Symphonic Winds. Enjoy 20 of your favorite patriotic marches and show tunes including the "Washington Post March," "76 Trombones," "The Sound of Music," "The Armed Forces Medley," and an inspiring finale of "The Stars and Stripes Forever."

On Tuesday, July 28 from 7-8 PM at the Historical Museum of Richfield (3907 Broadview Road), our program is entitled "Ohio Battles of the Revolutionary War."

The Picket Fence Art Show will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 1 PM - 5PM at the Johnson Barn, located in Richfield Woods Park at 4100 Broadview Road. Original framed art, ceramics, photography, jewelry, and fine crafts will be on display and available for purchase.

On Sunday, August 9, from 1-6 PM at Richfield Woods Park the Society will be participating in and have a table at Richfield Community Day.

On Tuesday, August 25 from 7-8 PM at Fellowship Hall, Mary Louise Daley (with A Portal in Time), will present "Oliver Hazard Perry: Hero of the Battle of Lake Erie -- A Life of Courage and Honor."

On Tuesday, September 22, from 7-8 PM at Fellowship Hall, a representative from the International Women's Air & Space Museum will present "A Brief History of the Women Air Force Service Pilots".

On Tuesday, October 20 from 7-8 PM at Fellowship Hall, John Burke (John Burke's Living History) will present "The Real Story of the First Thanksgiving."

On Sunday, November 15 from 2-3 PM at Fellowship Hall, Dr. Gary Domanick will present "The Importance of Remembering our Vital WWII History".
