"Blast into the Past" Road Rally
The Richfield Historical Society is sponsoring a “Blast into the Past” Road Rally on Sunday, July 12. The “scavenger hunt” on wheels will begin in the parking lot of Richfield Fellowship Hall, located at 3903 Broadview Road, at 2:00 p.m. and will take approximately two hours to complete. The final destination will be reached only by following a series of clues which will lead participants throughout Richfield as well as nearby communities and reveal just some of the interesting history of our community. Participants will also be presented with a number of questions which can only be answered by following the correct route. Cost to participate is a bag of non-perishable foods which will subsequently be donated by the Society to a local food bank. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners -- based on number of questions answered correctly, “scavenger items” brought back and overall time taken to complete the course. Deadline for registration is July 7. Proceeds from this event will benefit the mission and programs of the Richfield Historical Society.
